POST OFFICE STATION 17 Package Security

USPS security guidelines require that all packages over 13 oz. weight be traceable back to the mailer:
 
13ozrulesign 

This means that parcels of this type may not be placed into the mail stream with only stamps for postage. 

One of the following is required to be attached before we can pick up or dispatch such a package:

1.  A meter slip for us to attach postage in our mailroom;

2.  A meter tape from a postage meter owned by your department;

3.  Or evidence of postage paid online from the USPS website. 

Without the above, packages over 13 oz. must be brought to the window for an official rubber stamp postmark.
